The following is a list of my favourite books, web sites, movies and magazines.

Books / Kindle

Kindle Readers and Apps – Kindle e-readers let you download books, newspapers, and more in digital format from, and read them directly on a Kindle device. In addition, you can install the Kindle App on other devices (such as Android-based devices, iPhones and PCs) and read your Kindle books on them. This is a great way to save money, because you don’t have to pay any shipping charges for Kindle books. In addition, Kindle books save trees and reduce air-pollution because no shipping is required.

Hot, Flat and Crowded by Thomas Friedman

Movies and Video Clips

The Age of Stupid – a must-see fictional movie depicting what our world might look like if we don’t change the way we live, now.

Garbage Dreams – another fascinating documentary showing how the “Zabellin” Christian Copts living on the outskirts of Cairo make a living from recycling the city’s garbage.

The Story of Stuff Project – this project started out with the outstanding animation of “The Story of Stuff”. Now there are other clips on the site as well, all of which are worth watching.
